The Firm
Clay Capital Group LLC is an independent capital introduction firm. We open the door between builders and the institutional lenders, trade partners, and operating expertise that allow a real project to close.
The firm focuses on three U.S. construction-finance corridors — Twin Cities, Atlanta, and Dallas–Fort Worth — where the firm’s principal has built relationships across construction lenders, sponsors, and subcontractors over more than a decade of operating work.
We are a Minnesota limited liability company. We are not a registered broker-dealer or investment adviser. The work is narrow on purpose: introductions only, paid by the lender or trade partner at closing, never by the builder.

Principles
How the firm holds itself.
We make introductions, not deals.
Counterparties negotiate directly. The firm does not hold capital, take custody, or sit between the parties. The relationship is the product. The builder pays nothing — fees come from the lender or trade partner at closing.
Selective by design.
A small number of active engagements at any time. The work scales by reputation, not volume. If a project is not the right fit, we say so quickly.
Principal-attended.
Every introduction is reviewed and routed by the firm's managing principal directly. There is no junior associate sending your project to a lender database. The relationship that opens the door is the same one that follows the deal.
Leadership
Founder-led, single principal — for now.
The firm was founded in 2026 and operates with a single managing principal. Engagements are taken on selectively so each introduction is reviewed and routed personally — never sent to a lender database, never handed to an associate.
Clay Capital Group is structured to add additional principals as the firm grows.
